Employees are eligible to participate if they are an active, regular, full-time Appriss employee. Your benefits coverage begins on the first of the month following your hire or status change. Life events are effective on the date of the event. You have 31 days from hire or life event to enroll.
Eligible dependents include the following:
•Your spouse, same or opposite sex.
•Your domestic partner, same or opposite sex.
•Guidelines for domestic partners can be found within the Domestic Partner Affidavit. The affidavit will need to be submitted in the attachment section when submitting your new hire/life event benefits in Workday.
•Children up to age 26: Dependent children are eligible for coverage until age 26, regardless of student status. A Child dependent will be automatically removed from all coverage on the 1st of the month following their 26th birthday.
If you lose benefits eligibility due to a qualifying reason*, your medical, dental, and vision benefits will continue to the end of the month. You’ll receive a COBRA notice in the mail from WEX Benefits that outlines specific details within 14 days of the event.
*Qualifying reasons include but are not limited to loss of coverage, status change, marriage, divorce, birth, dependents turning 26, etc.
