What is a compliance hotline?

A compliance hotline is a 24/7 anonymous way to voice ethical and legal concerns at Appriss. When submitting your concern, you are at no time required to provide any personal information unless you wish to. You may be contacted by our third-party vendor for follow up information as needed. Following your complete submission, Appriss will promptly investigate and take action as needed.

Why are ethical issues important to Appriss?

In order to ensure we maintain a culture with a focus on both results and the integrity of the process that delivers those results, we have developed several core values that set the standard for everything we do. We call it ICARE. Appriss strives to hold all our employees and processes to our ICARE values, our hotline gives employees the ability to voice concerns when ethical or legally we do not meet those values.

Integrity is a core part of being a good person and a good company. At Appriss, we are honest and ethical and we strive to be honorable and fair in everything we do.

When to use the hotline:

  • If you see something illegal happening
  • If there is a violation of Appriss’ ICARE values, ethics, policies, or standards
  • If you notice something that may harm an employee, the company, our customers, the public or any organization we do business with
  • If you feel uncomfortable in a situation

If you find yourself in any of the above situations do not hesitate to call our hotline. If you are unsure if a situation requires the hotline, do not risk it. If a situation is unclear still call the hotline to ensure Appriss as a whole is meeting ethical and legal standards at all levels.

Examples of Ethical Issues

  • Conflict of interest
  • Theft
  • Improper use of data
  • Not following security measures for data
  • Creating or ignoring safety hazards
  • Selling/using illegal drugs

These are just a few examples, if you ever question the legality or ethics of a situation please speak up via our compliance hotline.
